  1. i'm sure they do:)

  2. no he's probably just thinking of running on that wheel.

  3. This is a question that has been debated a lot. There is no scientific evidence that hamsters dream. When hamsters sleep, they might twitch and squeak which make people think that they might be dreaming. But they are rodents who have an unhemispherical sleep where a part of their brain is still active smelling and hearing sounds to protect them from predators. So it is quite possible that the squeaking and shaking is due to sounds / smells that is felt by the working part of the brain. Hamsters also move a lot in their sleep if they are uncomfortable with their bedding or their cage is kept in a noisy room.

Another fact - hamster's vision is considered to be monocolor and weak so if they dream, it would be a weak dream with only black and white in it!

  4. No, he's simply just moving in his sleep.

  5. Probably. Hamsters can probably sream just like we do, and he could be dreaming of doing something which results in him moving.
