Do hamsters have little clothes for them selves?

i always wanted to see some clothes on my hammie cuse if there were some it would be so cute.

why would you do that? they will just chew clothes off.

I am sure that pet shops would stock clothes for hamsters but I would not support them due to the following reasons -

1. Hamsters identify themselves and each other with their scent. Clothes on them can confuse them since they would smell a different smell of the fabric.

2. Hamsters keep grooming themselves all the time and clothes would hamper that and can cause the hamster to get stressed.

3. The hamster is very agile and flexible, so the clothes have to be a bit tight and that can cause suffocation for hamsters

4. The hamsters can chew on their clothes and the threads in the fabric can cause hair ball condition.

If you want to put some clothes on your hammie, make sure that you do it for a very short time (like 10 minutes) under your personal supervision only.

there arent any u can buy like in a store but ive never checked on ebay or amazon.com. if u cant find any then u could try and make some if you're talented with a needle and thread. start with something simple, and work your way up. but please remember that your hamster will 9 times out of 10 hate clothes. i wouldnt recommend putting him/her through that kind of torture. sure it would be fun for u to watch but i dont think you rhammy will like u anymore :S

Yes I beleive they do have clothes but I cant really tell you your hamster will like it but good luck and have fun :)

Yes, in the wild, it is quite common to find hamsters running around in bermuda shorts and polo shirts, little cameras slung around their necks.  Sorry, couldn't resist.

they do have clothes quite expensive though and u can get leads for them so u can take them for a walk how kl is that

That's not to say I think it's the greatest idea. They like to groom themselves, and those little clothes would likely get very irritating to them. Not to mention putting them on would likely stress them out. If your hamster seems not to mind, I guess you may as well, but if he's really bothered by it make sure to take them off.
