Do hamsters sellout fast?

i wanted to get a hamster at petco but i wanna know if they sellout fast

i dont know.. hoever i do know they get baby hamsters often so if you ones on display are too old, you can get them from the back, my freind did that.

I'd say so, but they regularly have hamsters available. If you don't find hamsters, just go back in a few days. They get them in often. You don't have to rush into getting a hamster. Just spend time looking at them to see how healthy and active they are. If you find one you like, then you can get it. Don't just get any one because you're afraid they'll sell out. They'll get more in.

I don't think they will sell out that fast. They usually breed faster than they can sell them. Hamsters are in heat every four days. Hope you get a teddy bear hammie they are easier to tame and are not as mean.

Nope, hamster breed like crazy so there will always be some available.

If possible, don't go to petco. Try searching around in your area for a hamster. Don't go to a McAnimalPrison. Have you checked craigslist? Or petfinder.com? Go there first, before petco.

well not really I suggest you come back everyday to check up on the right time to get it so you can have one the time you really want it

Petco's animals are from breeding mills. They are often sick and missexed, and/or pregnant.

No, hamsters do not sellout fast, I was just at pet smart yesterday, and they are supposed to get like 90 box fulls of all these different hamsters, if you can, get your new hamster at a local petsmart. If not, pet co is fine too. Pet stores always make sure that they have at least 1 of each hamster, and if they don't I bet they always have more in a cage in the back room full of more hamsters!
