Do hand grips actually help you out in tennis?

do those hand grips that you squeeze actually help you out in your tennis game? like strengthening your grip and power?

  1. It makes it so your grip is more comfortable and you dont get nasty cuts/blisters on your hands from playing for long periods of time


  2. Oh yeah! It really makes a difference, believe it or not.

    You have to start with a grip size that you feel comfortable with; 4 3/8 or 4 1/4

    Then get some good grip tape ( I recommend gamma) and wrap it really tight around your grip. It really helps me get a firm grip on the racquet and   helps me control the ball a little better. Keep in mind that the grips can only do so much- there won't be a huge difference, but it will help you somewhat

    The wrist/grip strengthening devices that operate by coil does in fact help you with tennis! It gives you more wrist power. There you have it.
