Do have enough?

My friend's wife recently passed away. He has 3 kids, 2 girls(one going into their senior year and one going into her 8th grade year) and 1 boy(going into his 7th grade year). He has about $22,000 in his bank account. Is that enough to support his family, or not? PLEASE HELP!!!
