Do heavy hittter practice pads really make the same feel of high tensioned marching snare drums? ?

I need to practice and i've heard these r great. but i am not so sure as to what the internet says. should i get one. are they kinda realistic to high tensioned marching snare drums.

i jus have a big set of remo practice pads. im gonna use reps as representations. i have 6" tom reps, 8" tom reps, 12" tom reps and 2 styles of 12" snare reps. out of all of these the tom reps r very very close 2 a marching snare head. theyre very tight and have a rediculous ammout of rebound. and wats sick is u can tune them 2 how ever u want. theyre inexpensive 2 top it off. u can buy them off ebay for even cheaper. if u end up buying the remo pads, make sure u get the series with the red rims not the grey rims, the greys r the old model. there r 2 types, white head=snare rep. and a black head=tom rep. jus remember red rim, black head and w/e size u feel is best.
