Do helicopter pilots get paid well?

i am going to the army soon an I was wondering do I get paid well for transitioning from an army pilot to a a regular civilian pilot

  2. After getting released it will be hard to find a helicopter pilot job but you will have to start out small and then you will eventually get that pilot job. For a beginner you will make a about on average 40,000- 55,000 then with median experience on average about 56,000- 70,000 then as an experienced pilot you will make about on average tops of 100,000 put you will make a lot more being a commercial pilot. Even if you are in the Army as a Helicopter Pilot when you get out the companies will still see that you flew helicopter and as long as you have your FAA licenses and went through all of the classes you will be fine, which the Army will pay for those if you haven't already went to college.
