Heroes die and icons fade but not in the minds and hearts of the very people or lives they have touched, one way or another, through their bravery, examples and deeds.  They are immortalized in the halls of history and fame.

they die, they fade, their ideals die too in time, they will be forgotten and will be replaced by some rapper whose songs are about vandalism, neglect and distrust of authority.

icons? they become collectors item. icons did not necessarily mean heroes.
