Do high numbers in marks really mean anything in a class?

I'm 17 and I'm taking an online course over the summer. It's an anthro, sociology and psychology course. I have a good interest in this field. My current mark is 68 although that's because my teacher marked ahead and counted assignments that wern't even due till today. I know I'm a very intelligent person. I don't need a number to prove that. I suffer from procrastination and difficulty with assignments sometimes. I understand what I'm learning very well, my marks just don't go extremely high. Does that really matter? Some people work very hard for 90's, but I don't really concern myself too much with it. I do my best and know what I'm doing. If I don't get 90's, does that mean I'm not super intelligent or what?

  1. i guess not , if that was the case then than statitians would of been able to calculate the smartest person on the planet. As we know, that is incalculable. What i am trying to say is you cannot juge someone by marks.
