  1. no. some plant s have lots of sugar in it. it won't kill them!


  2. Yes surely it will kill the plants. High sugar level mbalances the osmotic concentration of the cytoplasm in the cells. The cells loose their shape and thereby the functions.  It tends to absorb more water and tries to maintain the sugar concentraton optimum.  The high sugar concentration is certainly harmful for the plants.
