  1. no

  2. No, we basically wear a shirt, chest protector, and jersey on top. On bottom its just a underwear, jock, and hockey pants. No parka whatsoever.

  3. Uhh... yes, how did you know?

  4. they wear a thin layer of clothing called under armour. since you sweat so much you do not feel cold

  5. I am confused when you say parkas but I know that when I played hockey, clothing wise under our equipment we didn't wear much.  It gets hot under all the equipment and so most people would go without a t-shirt and just underwear under their cups or even shorts but no parkas.  You would die.

  6. I occasionally don a fleece sweater under my jersey when I played pond or outdoor hockey in Canada and New Brunswick, (last time I played outdoors in Switzerland it was only -10C) but a parka gets in the way. If you're skating hard, chances are you're sweating so much that the parka would seemingly double in weight during the game, thus slowing you down.

  7. no, but they should dress the pucks up in parkas.. maybe it'd attract more fans...

  8. Yes to keep warm.

Have a look at Crosby the next time he is playing.  He is sweating because of the parka.

  9. i wear just a bra under my equipment
