  1. Holiday Packages 'usually' include hotel & transportation. If it does include tours it will state that.

There's nothing really to 'look out for'.

If you are concerned or worried that you're getting ripped off, go to your local travel agent. It doesn't cost you anything. They get a commision from the hotels/airlines & they do most, if not all of the work for you.

  2. A package can be made up of different things so when you get a quote make sure you know whats included. Usually its flights, accommodation and transfers + additional things like tours. You must check if it is a fully inclusive package ie includeds all meals and specific drinks or if its bed and breakfast only or dinner bed and breakfast. NB * watch out for packages which do not include airposrt taxes and fuel surcharges etc in the price this tends to bring up the price quite a lot. Make sure you don't just use any random tour operator as it could be a fly by night scame. You must decide what exactly you are looking for in a trip i.e. what you want to see etc. The pace of the trip is also very important don't if you want a relaxed holiday go for something where they are cramming in every tourist destiation you can think of into a few days. Its always good to match your age with the tour. i reccommed going o a travel agent as they have the resources to match your requirements to a specific tour. hope you enjoy the trip when it comes!

  3. depends on the company. Make sure to read the fine print!

  4. packages will usually include the airline fare, and the hotel price, but do not usually included any tours [unless specified in the brochure].

  5. usually just the flight and hotel-meals on the plane/tours/insurance etc will all be separate

  6. Packages usually only cover the flight and cost of the hotel...you should checkin the small print to see if this also cobvers transfers to and from the airport ( With some packages, you have to make your own arrangements). any trips / tours/ sightseeing is usually booked and paid for separately, unless otherwise stated in your brochure. If you're still unsure, have a chat with your local travel agent.
