  1. you need a fixed address.

so, if you are homeless, then, no.

  2. i guess,  go to a free shelter!!! then you would have a better chance of getting the money!!!

  3. Yes, if they register 4 Centrelink benefits.

  4. They are technically elligible for centerlink benefits. However their live styles, lack of fixed address make it difficult for them to apply and recieve payments. A large majority of Australia's long term homeless population suffer from mental illness, which creates further problems.

I think that the average person on the street does not receive unemployment benefits.

  5. Yes they do and most go to the same bank each fortnight to get their money. I used to see them regularly when I worked in a part of the city where there were lots of homeless people.

  6. Yes the get something from my tax money Unemployment allowance Or sickness benefits or some other benefit

  7. Absolutely, providing that they apply for the Centrelink benefits, providing that you have a postal address to recieve correspondence, this can be c/o your local post office.

  8. all jobless receive benefits  if they are looking for work.  don't want to try for work = no dole!  Probably why they are homeless, there is rent assistance as well.
