Like sheep and cows that produce environmentally damaging gas emissions for instance.

  1. The answers I have read seem to have covered this subject very well. However, vegitarians-who as a "species" are generally more concerned about these types of issues produce more emissions than omnivores-the "baked beans" effect!

  2. Yep.

    f**t!!

  3. Dear Friend,

We do produce greenhouse gas(CO2), but the percentage is very small compared to industrial and transportation industries.

Further CO2 donot depleate /destroy the Ozone layer. CFC from industrial activities does. we donot generate anything near to CFC.

The CO2 of course plays a role in global worming by blocking the Reverse radiations out of the globe. But human produced CO2 share is minimal.

You can very easily compensate for CO2 generated by you by planting and growing a Tree (like mango, teak, banyan, or any other trees that grows higher than you and lives longer than you). You will be doing a great service to mankind by doing that.

In any case, no one needs to be killed.

So please do not worry and make marry.

  4. About half of the CO2 produced by humans comes from 6 billion people breathing. With the population doubling about every 50 years, this is bound to increase

  5. Yes CO2 and Methane   Cows give 12% of the worlds methane!

  6. From the thumbs up & down there at least some here who understand that co2 is related to global warming and not ozone.

  7. We do breathe out co2 but most of it is absorbed by the trees and turned into oxygen. We could do without the co2 made by cars, factories, planes etc. So animal breathing co2 doesn't help global climate change much.

  8. Your question shows just how weak many peoples knowledge of these issues is, Ozone depletion is caused by CFC's which come/came from things like the coolant in air-con units and spray cans - CFC's are now banned.

    Humans don't produce CFC's

Humans do produce some greenhouse gases co2 and some methane and there are 6.6 billion of use so there would be some additional effect on top of the massive amount produced by power stations and cars.

  9. yes all the time we f**t and breathe

  10. my husband does. he could be the end to life as we know it.

  11. well we breathe out c02 so i guess so

  12. We f**t

  13. Human bodies produce greenhouse gases (I'm assuming you mean by breathing, etc., not driving, etc.) The carbon mostly comes from food you eat; the carbon from that comes ultimately from plants, who get it from the atmosphere. Net effect, close to zero.

None of these (CO2, NH4, etc.) affect the ozone layer. The deteriation of the ozone layer is from a breakdown of floro-chloro-carbons that used to be used in cleaning, arosol cans, air conditioners, refriduators, etc. Ultraviolet breaks these down in the upper atmosphere to radicals that act as a catalyst that converts O3 (ozone) to O2 (regular oxygen).

  14. yes we do...everytime we breathe we exhale CO2 , wich takes part on greenhouse effect. Also the fumes from excretal material tend to be methane gas.

  15. Yes, and I'm eating more beans so I can contribute more before winter comes.
