Question:

Do humans have magic or paranormal abilities?

I know that this question sounds really lame, and possibly even crazy, but I've been thinking and a lot of people have confirmed that psychic powers exist. I've been apart of a few "psychic" websites such as Psipog, Psistudies, UPCOnline and a few others and so far I have yet to see any solid proof that psychic abilities exist. I've even wasted my own time practicing.

I guess my true question is - Is their anything magic-related? Or anything even similar to magic? Can anybody here prove it or help me achieve this power?

And I'm sorry if I sound young and ignorant, but life is dull and boring and if something like "Magic" or "Psychic Powers" existed it would very much make my life less boring.

  1. I've seen alot of amazing things when  I went to India.  I believe Jesus, and Moses had paranormal powers.

There is a Swami in India named Sathya Sai Baba...alot of amazing things happen there.  I've seen small gold chains, changed  into huge thick chains with just a touch of his hand.  I've seen rings get formed out of mid air.

I've seen many ghosts/spirits there too.

There are alot of doubters out there. I was one too. But after going there, and seeing for myself, I was amazed, and still am.

The vibrations there are amazing, and alot of paranormal activity happens there on a daily basis.

Even NASA sent a team to investigate the place, because there was such a huge energy reading that they received from the space shuttle, they didn't know how it was possible.  People have even taken pictures of Sathya Sai Baba, and instead of His picture, the picture, of what is said to be Jesus has appeared, and this was the camera of devout Christians take the picture on Christmast Day.  Well if you want interesting check it out.  Don't mind the doubters, there were many that doubted Jesus, and Moses too.

  2. i think the difference lies in your concept about magic,

you practice magic if you want to become a magician like

randi,i mean for entertaiment,or you can learn occultism to do magic rituals, and that really is not for everyone...

  3. All the "Magic" & "Psychic Powers" are originated & controlled by the human brain. Some persons have special abilities, due to the learning development or natural gifts or both.I guess that`s the core that solve the "Enigma" stated in

    your rational inquiries

  4. NO

  5. No it's not lame or crazy. With so many people claiming they have these powers.Who wouldn't wonder. The fact is these powers don't exist.People who say they have them are lying or delusional.Folks who believe in them are just plain silly. There are plenty of real wonders in the world.Check them out next time your bored.Start here

  6. Supposedly your sub-conscious mind is a calculating/pattern recognition machine.

Its not magic, but more like statistics that allow people to make accurate guesses as to the nature of someone or some situation. All based on known clues.

  7. Absolutely not.

If they did, then the abilities would not be classified as magical or paranormal, they would just be everyday abilities.

Here are some abilities that are so complex that it is rediculous to conceive that nature could put something like this together.

    Vision, using the human eyes.

    Communication with speech.

Feeling and distinquishing between hot, cold, pain, and pressure.

The human body is truely remarkable. Magic is performed by illusionists.

  8. No, but they do have the innate ability to be very gullible.

  9. There are many unexplained things in our universe, and while we sometimes discount things as though by reflex, it is important to consider the craziest ideas...sometimes they are right. As for magic, the laws of physics make sure that it is impossible in the sense that is read about in fantasy literature. Psychic abilities seem to be a real phenomenon in some cases, and may indeed exist through brainwave interpretations as what people call ESP, though kinesis is a stretch. Nothing has been proven yet, so there is no easy answer, but if you keep skeptical yet open minded, perhaps you will discover the truth.

  10. Absolutely!

Go to India sometime and see what the Yogis can do.

    What is "magic":

    Sleight of hand?

    Calling upon external forces?

    Calling upon internal forces?

    or

Merely phenomenon for which we do not (as yet) have a scientific explanation?

Performance of "extraordinary feats" is usually a signpost along some spiritual path. The mind is a wondrous instrument!

    .

  11. The closest thing there is to magic is technology that has not been understood yet.

It's one of Arthur C. Clarke's most famous quotes-

"There is no difference between magic and technology that's the observer doesn't understand yet." Or words to that effect.

If you were to travel back to Salem during the Witch Trials with your iPod, a laptop, and a video camera you'd be in a lot of danger.

They would see it as black magic, even though you knew these things had real scientific explainations.

It's in the eye of the Beholder.

As far as real violations of the laws of physics (magic or magik or magick), you are right it was a waste of time!

Stage Magic is the closest you can come to the effect of magic.

    Don't get fooled again.

  12. I hate to sound like a conspiracy nutcase but a secret society known as the Thule Society existed for centuries but only during W.W.2 , they were originaly linked to "the order of the teutons" and much of the activities during W.W.2 were deemed top secret, the members of the Thule Society weren't true mystics because they required ancient relics like the Spear fo Destiny and many others aquired during W.W.2 from museums and private collectors, the Thule Society has been portryed in movoes like Hellboy, so there a few people out there with mystical powers or abilities.

  13. at the quantum level magic occurs all the time. there is even a one in a zillion chance that a person could walk through a wall ,according to quantum mechanics.since there is that one chance than the answer is yes, "magic" does exist.

  14. Mere humans don't, of course.  No human has ever, anywhere, any time, been able to demonstrate paranormal abilities.

    Repeat, no-one, ever.

Toads however are another case entirely.  You wouldn't believe the number of princesses that have kissed me hoping I'd turn into a handsome prince.  Boy, did I fool them.

    But seriously, no.

  15. I think that people (in general) are born with different abilities. To be able to play any sport, to sing in a theatre, to learn anything that is written or verbal and keep the information in your mind.

'Yes' I do believe that people are born with psychic powers.  Whether it be them knowing what is going to happen, Reading tarot, Reiki, etc.........  You are either born with it or your not, but figuring out, if you are able to do what you want will take time and alot of research.  Go to a reading with a psychic and see if you like it, but if you question everything about whatever it is that you want to do.  You are going to have to seriously think to yourself, "Do I really want to do it?".  And also do remember that some people are born to be con artist.  So have an open-mind, but keep in mind that anything is possible!

I hope that you understand what I am talking about and hope that it might help!!!

  16. It depends what you consider to be "magic". I don't consider it magic or paranormal. Its all power of the mind, manipulation of energy, nothing more, nothing less. You can of course train your mind but it takes a long time and hard studying to accomplish anything. You have to be dedicated and from what you say about you being bored and your life dull, I wonder if you'll have the motivation and will power to persist.

  17. It depends on what you would label 'magic'.
