  1. It's better if you compare the benefits of socializing and not socializing, at least that way you can properly weigh them without spending years trying to contradict one or the other.

    Primary Benefit of Socializing:

Increased mental stability thanks to the support of others.

    Primary Benefit of Not Socializing:

Increased mental stability thanks to self-reliance.

As you can see, it doesn't matter whether or not one is better than the other, as a person can still learn the same skills regardless of whether he learns it from others or from himself.

    Remember, there are always exceptions.

  2. Yes, your missing out on heaps... you dont need to socialise with heaps of people, even if its a few, you wil notice a difference, trust me... if you have some really good friends they can help you feel good about yourself, you can ask them things rather than try and sort everything out yourself, it takes a bit of strain off from you...

humans are social beings, and we can learn a great deal from each other, which helps us grow as humans.

just try it!! you might not like it at the start but it will definetly be a great experiance for you... start small, get a coffee with someone or just talk to them on msn or on the phone for 10 minutes...

have fun, wats fun in being with yourself,

  3. I'm not very sociable except with a close group of friends. I'm perfectly fine. If you're an extroverted person, you will probably have more fun while socializing. However, as an introvert I enjoy spending my time reading, watching TV, and writing.

  4. if you don't socialize,

    you become a recluse.

and you stay in your own world and not let any one in.

I think I am beginning to be like this

    and I don't like the

    idea of this.

    could become pretty gloomy

    if I do.
