  1. That is part of what being humble means.


  2. People who "frequently" express their gratitude to others are either:

    (1) frequent beneficiaries of other peoples' generosity; or

    (2) obsequious idiots

  3. I don't think humble people take from other people so they don't have a need to express gratitude.

  4. I'm an extremely humble person and yes I do express gratitude and get pleasantly surprised when someone does a nice thing for me.  I don't expect much at all and I'm very low maitnenance.

  5. They are known to appreciate much but take very little and expect very little.  They are also know to be very grateful and always be expressive when some does something good for them.  They are also know to "return" favors without letting others know.  They don't advertise their good deeds and don't expect others to do so when they do good deeds for them.  Anonymity is a trait of theirs.
