  1. Yes,they fly south to Mexico,Central and South America,among other places.They DO fly themselves.They Do NOT hitch a ride on the back of a goose.They have to go south where the weather is warm and there are flowers,as they live on nectar and tiny insects.

  2. I heard they hitch rides on the backs of geese to get there , so no they dont fly south .
