Do hurricanes always spin in the same direction ?

I was just wondering hurricanes in the south eqauter spin in the same direction as it does in the north eqauter? Please HELP!

  1. Yes. They are low pressure areas and the spin is counter-clockwise in the Northerm hemisphere, and the other way below the equator.
