  1. Beautician as in a Hairstylist?...Yeah, You need a Cosmetology License...If you don't, You can be reported the State board of Cosmetology and be fined.

  2. I should think to be successful you'd need to be fully trained, whether it was through a home course or part time at a college but formal qualifications arn't required. You just need to know what your doing, a portfolio would be good so you could show potential customers your skills. As that kinda work is based quite a bit on word of mouth, people recommeneding you to friends etc as long as your first few customers have a good experience you'll build up new loyal customers quicklyand they wont really mind if you don't have any academic qualifications.

  3. Yes you need.

Beauty line is always sensitive thing. Specially in terms of machines, related to skin.

It depends upon country wise too.

If you are in Singapore you need it.

For your kind information, if you get certificates like CIDESCO or CIBTAC, it is recognized worldwide. Try google for that.

    Thanks

  4. No, you don't require any qualifications to be a freelance beautician.

  5. I don't think so, a good portfolio of your work should be enough but you'll need insurance I imagine and that will be harder without qualifications
