  1. go to traffic school they will explain it al to you.

  2. --- If it is a mandatory appearance the officer who stopped you should have stated it was and it should be noted on the face of your citation with either a mandatory appearance box checked or with a written notation somewhere that states something to the effect of "Must Appear" or Mandatory Appearance."

--- If the citation is for a traffic crime then it is going to be a must appear as all criminal charges, traffic crimes or otherwise, must go before a judge. I don't know if passing a bus is a traffic crime or not in California.

--- HOWEVER, if you have any questions about this you can simply call the Clerk of Courts office for the county where the citation was issued and ask them. Have your copy handy so you can give them the citation number and whatever else they need. They should be able to tell you easily if you must appear or not.

--- My bet is that it is NOT a mandatory appearance if they allowed you to post your fine already. Usually they won't allow that if you must appear before the judge.

  3. I believe you only have to go to court if you're fighting the ticket.. but there's one easy way to find out for sure.. call the courthouse.

  4. Your bet is to call the courts where your citation came from and double check. If they tell you it's OK I highly recommend taking an Online Traffic School. I took one in California that was fast and affordable http://www.ticketrelief.com
