  1. No, it will not. Not until the unpaid balance starts to grow substantially, that is. You will start paying interest, though.


  2. No, you have a minimum you have to pay and you need to pay all of that. But you dont have to pay the entire balance.  The company should let you know what each number is. You can pay more than your minimum if you wish.

  4. No, it won't affect your score.

    As long as you pay at least the minimum payment before the due date, the credit card company will report that you paid on time -- they only report that you paid on time or not.

    However, if you don't pay the balance in full, you will be charged interest based on the average daily balance, not just the part you didn't pay.  Paying the account in full saves you the interest.

  5. A monthly statement lists two amounts:

    "Current balance"

    "Minimum payment due"

    As long as you pay the minimum month-after-month, the banks are happy and won't damage your credit score at all.
