Do i get citizenship from one naturlized citizen parent?

our whole family came over to US 5 years ago, and my dad just became a citizen of US recently, but my mom's still a permanent resident, and i'm 17 right now, do i get citizenship because my dad's a citizen?

  1. No, you have to get it on your own.


  2. You have to reside in the US for five (5) consecutive years to be eligible. You send your application, money order. So it's not based on your dad but you.

    has resided within a state or district for at least three months
