  1. what a weird post.  "Do I receive anything if this guy is dead?".

I have read your other posts and for the post year you have post over 20 times about how unhappy you are with this guy?  And now you are asking what happens when he is dead.

    Suggestion:  MOVE ON.

  2. You mentioned he has a will.  Unless he accounts for you in his will, you have no rights to his estate.  And as for the breaking up issue, he is not legally obligated to give you anything including part of his estate.  If you do end up having a child together, the child (including his other two) will share his estate (unless specified otherwise in his preexisting will).  You however, have no rights to his estate even if you have a child with him.  Now, depending on the states decision regarding the children's inheritance, perhaps the child may be "supported" with some of the money inherited...but this depends on many circumstances...of which the state may need to be involved.

    Hope I could help.

  3. If you have contributed in paying for the estate or mortgage, then you are entitled to part of the estate, provided you have proof of your payments.

  4. You are unrelated parties, and you would therefore have absolutely no claim to anything in his estate, unless it was specified in a will. His estate would go to his next of kin, if there is no will. Thus, his two children may have claim.

  5. As a girlfriend, you have no claim to his estate if he dies without a will.  If you have a child with this man and he dies without a will, your child and his children from the prior relationship may be entitled to a share of the estate.
