i'm taking Chinese 3 in my senior year. Some people told me that Chinese 3 count as 3 years of foreign language.

Is it true?

or what should i do? i dont have time to take another year of foreign language.

What if i did really well (perfect score) on my SAT II chinese test? Would that help making up the 1 year course i missed?

Im planning to apply for UC riverside. do u think they are gonna accept me?

Thank you for your help

  1. i think you only need one, maybe two, years to graduate, and it's recommended 3 for a UC, but UCR isn't all that big so you're probably fine if you have good grades and test scores

  2. If you are Chinese your application will go right into the circular file.

  3. Did you take Chinese 1 and 2 first? Colleges want two years of classes in the same foreign language.
