  1. cool!

  2. no its not a birthmark just a defect in your eye. it wont give you any vision problems so you dont have anything to worry about. i have one exactly the same in my eye but so does my mum so it just runs in our genes

  3. My dad has one too...he has hazel eyes and a birthmark on his left eye. It won't give you vision problems because you don't use that part of your eye to see. Don't worry about it...my dad is in his 40's and it hasn't given him any problems at all

  4. It's probably an Iris Nevus.

A nevus is typically a flat, benign, pigmented area that may appear inside the eye or on its surface.  Nevi commonly appear on the choroid (the layer just behind the retina), the iris, and the conjunctiva.  Nevi are similar to freckles, and don’t typically change or grow.

  5. The brown smudge isn't in your pupil...the pupil is the hole in the center.

The darker "smudge" is on your iris...the colored part of the eye.

It is completely normal and common, and won't affect your vision.

It is just the way the genes decided you were going to be.
