the reason i feel like i might have a case against them is because i have a 4 year old autistic whom i have been raising.i invite ccbmrdd in to my home a couple of times to help me with my son's behavior problems sleep problems and sensory problems .in which they were fully aware of before coming to my home.so january 7 2008 a social worker comes out saying oh we got a complaint that your child is not sleeping and trhat he wraps strings around his hand due to a sensory problem.i was shocked.the social worker said i'm not here to take your son .i'm here to commend on raising such a child and your in my prayers.do i have a case against cuyahoga county mental retardation for fully knowing of my child's illness in his iep's.do i have a case.i want to sue on mental anguish.

  1. The only real thing you can sue for is lack of services.  Did their lack of knowledge hurt your son and his progress?

  2. "Mental anguish," in legal terminology, is the intentional infliction of emotional distress.  Your narrative does not reveal facts that give rise to IIED.
