Do i have a chance for college tennis?

im 16 and started when i was around 13. i play almost 5 times a week since the start of april. Ive really starting playing seriously and im planning on starting tournaments in the fall/winter. I played varsity singles for my high school as a sophmore and im about 2000000 times better now.. and im most likely going to be first singles next year. can anyone tell me what else i can do it is my dream to play at the collegiate level since i started too late to go pro.. i also have a coach giving me private lessons 2 times a week

  1. I think you have a good chance.  Just keep on working and you will probably make it on the college team.

    Who said you started to late to go pro. Cedric Pioline started when he was 16 and made to a US Open Final and Wimbledon final. Lost to Sampras in both I believe.

  3. well first off it doesn't matter how much you play. it does but it doesnt. you put to much you will tire. you dont put enough you will lag. things i want to know. What state you live in. what number is your team in the state. and do you play USTA Tennis and if so what is your ranking? I play USTA Champs 16's. get back to me and i can help you answer your question
