Do i have a chance of getting accepted?

Ok so i am going into 8th grade and want to go to a boarding school in 9th grade.

I have all A's.

I am in 4H and in a community service club.

I play soccer, act in theatre, play the piano, and ride horses.

Last year I applied for Groton School and did not get excepted for two reasons (my dad called and asked) 1. I did not have enough extra curriculars (i added soccer and piano) 2. I did not score high enough on my SSAT's-i did 80% better than everyone else who took it.

This year i am studying for 30 min to an hour every day for the SSAT's in December, and im taking it also in January.

I am applying for Phillips Exeter, Brooks School, Concord Academy, and Groton School.

Do you think i will be accepted to any of these schools?

Could you give me a one out of ten?

Does it matter if you apply as a boarding student or not?

Sorry for the grammar.

thanks

  1. They'd have to be stupid not to accept you - you're so dedicated to your work it's almost insane. ;) I'm pretty sure you'll be accepted.

  2. It sounds to me like you are really intense about this stuff, so as long as you score high on your SAT you should be fine, especially with your extra curriculars and straight A's.

I wouldn't think boarding school would matter.

All in all, you have a pretty good chance. Keep up the good work!
