Do i have a ghost in my house?my house is not that old?

ok when me and my older sister is home alone I hear ball bouncing upstair and when my sister came in the room a light just flash up she didn't turn on the light.And we hear like someone taking a shower upstair very scary!

Plumbing itself is an odd thing, and can account for lots of strange noises, and even for water turning on and/or off by itself because of things like water pressure, air in the pipes, etc., and so the sounds you're hearing could be those (and I haven't heard them, so I can accept being wrong on this).

Lights can occur from lots of sources outside, like neighbors' lights, vehicles as they pass by, and many other potentially normal reasons. It's best to investigate all other possibilities first before arriving at a conclusion that some place is haunted.

Even so, what you're describing does sound like a haunting, and is at least worth some investigation. There are some things that might be causing the effects you're talking about. I'd suggest consulting a professional (paranormal investigator). The most famous, TAPS, has their link in my "sources" section below.

I dont believe in ghosts. Altho... My friend next door used to live in an older house. Before they moved in a man died in the house. From the start of the time they moved in they would notice weird stuff like doors opening and closing, facits turning on, refriduator opening. When there was only ONE person home. Now keep in mind the WHOLE family said this (even the parents).

Now most of the time its just you imagination, but who knows your house could be haunted.

I suggest that you Google "Paranormal" and your location.  e.g. "Paranormal Chicago Illinois".  You should be able to find a "ghost hunting" group that way.  If you are certain that no one is tricking you or that it is not your imagination, contact them and see what they can do for you.  Also, visit the local library and look for old newspaper articles regarding you address.  You might find something interesting there.  If you have a pre-teen or early teen female in residence you may have a poltergiest.  Again, a paranormal society might give you good advise.
