  1. CSUs should be fine. The CalPolys depend on majors, which may or may not be competitive. UCs vary, maybe Davis, Riverside, Irvine, Merced, etc. UCSD, LA, SB, and Berkeley are out. SDSU if it has what you're looking for.

Work hard. That's all there is to say. Study for the SAT/ACT, and try to make up that D- in Geom.

  2. hmm, i'm not sure if you can get into any UC schools, but you might have a chance at a CSU school. Colleges start looking at your report cards in sophmore year, and end by junior year. Looking at your, the only bad thing is that Geometry grade. And perhaps the large amount of B's. I believe a D would hurt you, a lot. When did you take spanish? I know that it is required for you to tak 2 years of foreign language, but you should take it for a longer time period. Since you're taking some AP classes, they might help you. Try your hardest to maintan a B+ average, and you're chances will improve dramatically.

Hmm, do good on you SAT!

Geometry IS pretty hard, I took it freshman year (while everyone else I knew took Alg. 2/Trig honors), and I practically died. I got a C first semester, and a B during second semester. I had atleast a 3.8, and that just totally brought down my GPA. You see straight A's and baam! A grade of C! Same with second semester.
