  1. NO. NEVER resort to sleeping to sleeping pills. I'll tell you exactly what to do:

TONIGHT: Get off your PC right now, Turn off the lights, get in bed and close your eyes- I don't care how awake you are do not get back up stay in bed at all costs.

TOMMOROW: When you wake up I want you to do some instense exersizes such as jogging outside in the hot sun. Push yourself to the limit. Do it for as long as you need to until you drain the energy out of yourself. NEXT, Stay up and awake until your body is just killing you stay awake another minute. You'll fall asleep at night before you know it.

    DO NOT drink soda!

or for that matter anything that contains sugar or caffeine!

  2. do some algebra and other complicated things that you will learn when you go back to school

not only will the thinking make u wanna go to sleep, you will learn something [maybe] too

also go pee before you go to sleep, i hate hate it when i'm about to go to sleep and then i have to pee and i'm fully awake again

    if that doesnt work

set your alarm to 7:00 am and get up that time tomorrow and stay awake the whole day, no naps, so buy like 10:00 you'll want to go to sleep right away :]

  3. i do the same thing.

    i am 14

  4. I agree with Kyra. I have been taking Melatonin for several years now. I only take it when I know I won't be able to sleep or after I have tossed and turned in bed for a while. It does wonders. It takes about 30-45 mins to kick in and it keeps me asleep for 6-8 hours. I also know that you should not do anything in your bedroom except for sleep. If you do other things (read, watch t.v., play on the computer, etc...) your brain thinks that it should be doing those things instead of sleeping. I hope this helps and Sweet Dreams!

  5. I have the same exact problem...maybe a little worse. I take these natural supplements called melatonin. It's a substance your body naturally produces that makes you go to sleep. Best part is it's safe and non-addictive. Not guaranteed to knock you out like sleeping meds, but it does help a lot. You can find it at most super markets in the organic products section.

Also, going outside during the day and getting sunlight helps you to sleep later on. And exposure to lots of artificial light after dark can make it harder to sleep.

Also, exercise less than a few hours before bed can keep you awake.

    Hope this helps :)

  6. this is what im gonna start doing:

set your alarm clock as early as you need.

    i set mine for 10.

just try to go to sleep but, dont force yourself.

just make sure you wake up when the alarm rings.

do this around a week, maybe.

    trust me itll work.

  7. my sister has the problem. and she listens to music

  8. Just break the cycle.  You'll be tired for a day or 2 but you'll get back on a normal schedule.  When you go to bed at 5 AM one day, set your alarm for 10AM and get up.  You will be tired but you 'll be able to go to bed at a normal hour that same night.
