Do i have all the equipment needed to activate sirius radio?

Question

i bought a ued truck that has a radio that is sirius ready and i see an antenna on the roof but i still dont know if i need anything else. i called sirius and they want me to activate an account to find out if it works and i am not comfortable with that. do they have some sort of demo channel that my radio should pick up? when i change the source on my radio to sirius, all i get is their toll free number to call. any help will be apreciated!

Sirius radio is not free. You can check out this site to see if it helps. My daughter has Sirius  radio.
