Do i have high blood pressure?

last week i went to the doctor and he took my blood pressure and he said it was a little high but probably because i was worried about getting a shot. so he told us to check it at home. so i used my dad's blood pressure thing.. it's electronic and it said it was 142 over 83. is that normal for a 14 year old

143 is a bit high for your age. However, automatic automatic home machine are not always accurate. Ask your school nurse to check ot for you.
