Do i have the size to play fullback?

Im 15 and starting jv practice monday and looking to play fullback.. im 6 foot 184 is that good size for a fullback at my age?

Dude that's freakin good man, 6ft is perfect for a JV, even a pro. size. Our FB is 5'5 but don't let that mis-underestimate you. He's a monster. I'd say keep your weight like it is, because it's only HS football and you don't really need to worry about weight alot, unless you weight 100 pounds then you better hard, son. But keep doing drills and you'll do fine!

thats a good size for a fullback your age, but if i were you i would lift and try to add on about an extra 10 pounds. but as long as you have proper technique then you'll make an excellent fullback

That is a perfect size for fullback. Not to be rude or anything but it would be a good idea to make some of that 184 into muscle. At your age you should start thinking about lifting small weights to begin with. I think your size is great for fullback.

Your size is great for a FB. Sounds like you have a good work ethic and want to get better. Part of being a FB is mentality. It helps to have that mean/nasty streak. Watch highlights of Owen Schmitt from West Virginia. He runs over people and finishes blocks very effectively.
