Going to an amusement park from 7pm-12:30 am [the time it's open until]. I'm taking my 10 year old twins, [boy, girl] and their 2 friends who are sleeping over. I already know bug spray, bottles of water, but what else? I don't think i need to put sunblock on if we're going at night. This is our 'summer fun' day, it was yesterday to, but my husband wants to go to the amusement parks, and once the kids heard that, they went over-excited. Is there anything i need to pack? Should i make them wear Bathing suits? There are about 8 water rides they love to go on, and i was wondering should i just let them be kids and get wet or make them wear bathing suits? Should they wear Sneakers or Flip-Flops? Sorry i'm asking so much, I've never took them to an amusement park.

  1. bathing suits or cloths - doesn't matter.  I'd go with sneakers or a good sports sandle rather than flip flops - no support and easy to fall off your feet on some rides.

I'd throw some granola bars in your purse too.  It always gives me something to much on when I don't want to take time away from the fun - and amusement park food can get expensive.

Other than that - you sound set.  4 hours at an amusement park isn't a big deal.  No need to pack the kitchen sink.  Keep it simple and you'll have a better time :)

  2. yah of course. we go to amusement parks all the time :) juts remember to bring money, for lockers, and food. or just pack a lunch :)\

yah and let them go swimming in the water slides it would be fun. but let them be supervised :). hope i helped. and just remember to keep a watch for them. amusement parks are huge!
