Do i have to be notified a set amount of time before a schedule change at my job in california?

  1. Unless your hours are part of a written contract, they can be changed at any time.

Don't think so...but you can check with your labor board in your state.   Most information about P & P's can also be found by consulting your HR dept.  Keep in mind- HR works for your company though, not for you.  However, each big company usually has an Employee Advocate that does however look out for the employee's best interest.   Try consulting them, even possible to do anonymously.  However, in the meantime you better work the schedule that has been laid out for you....if you quit, you won't have any legal grounds to stand on.  Good Luck!!!
