Do i have to buy both HD TV and HD DVD????

Question

Do i have to buy both of them to increase the definition of the movie or i just buy only 1 of them???

can i buy a HD TV and a normal DVD or a normal TV and a HD DVD??? Do they still provide good definiton for movies

Well, yes and no. Buying an HDTV will certainly up the quality of a DVD more drastically than a HD DVD or Blu-ray player will for a normal TV because without the HDTV output, high definition players will appear no different on your screen. If you want high definition, you need to buy an HDTV, and buying a high definition player will massively increase the quality of your DVD watching. So, you definitely need an HDTV to experience superior quality for high definition players; otherwise, those same players will do nothing for your standard definition TV

with just a normal dvd player the video will stay the same

but it you get the hd dvd play the dvd will play in hd, but only if the  dvd is hd
