Do i have to buy liability insurance on rental car ? i use credit which covers cwd donot hv my own liab ins.?

i do not have car so do not have my own liab insurance

  1. If your credit card has a benefit where if you use their card to pay for the rental and they'll cover it for insurance, then no.  But you should check with them to be absolutely sure.  If they won't cover it, and you elect to not get the rental company's insurance, you will be so screwed up if anything happens to the car.


  2. You should check may be rental company already provided it.

    If not, I recommend this one - http://carinsurance.enacre.net - I personally had their car insurance while renting a car.

  3. You should buy the insurance offered by the rental car company EXCEPT for the CDW which you say will be covered by your credit card company
