Do i have to get the $60 hdmi cable from gamestop for the ps3 ?

or can i just get a cheaper one ??? will it affect the reliability and quality ??? and if i can get the cheaper one where can i get it??

You don't have to get it.  You can get a cheaper HDMI cable.  There is no correlation between price and quality.  Some cheap cables can provide as good as a quality as the more expensive cables.  Take Monster Cables.  It's 100 bucks.  Is is that much better than say a 20 dollar cable?  No.  

Try Amazon, eBay, etc. to get a cheap cable.

it depends hw long ur ps3 is from ur comp.  the longer it is the more u got to pay    i got mine at walmart

An HDMI cable is an HDMI cable in my opinion... no need to get the more expensive one.  The only reason I'd pay more is if I need a longer one.
