  1. i wouldnt get the shot in the first place, in fact, people have died because of this shot, it was in Macleans Magazine, just look it up on google, and it starts with feeling sick and if you fainted from the first one i really discourage you from getting the second one unless you do some really good research about people dying from it, cervical cancer itself, hpv, regular pap tests and safe s*x hope i helped

  2. If you don't want it you don't have to get it, it's not a law or anything.

Personally I'd rather deal with some discomfort or even fainting now than wind up with cervical cancer later on, but it's your choice.

  3. Just because you fainted the first time doesn't necessarily mean you're gonna faint the second time around.

Could've just been a reaction your body had to receiving something new.

I'd talk with my doctor before skipping out again.

As much as physians urge girls to get the shot, i'd say it's better you stick it out, and work with the medicine.

  4. The vaccine is really new, so we don't know how effective it is.

About 5 years after the chickenpox vaccine came out, we realized that we needed boosters so that the shot remains effective.

I guess the thinking is that this vaccine doesn't work unless you get both.

Personally, I don't see why men aren't being told to get the vaccine, men can contract and spread HPV, and it can lead to penile cancer in men...

Anyway, if you think you can manage, I would try to get the second shot.
