Do i have to go to University to become a graphic designer?

I want to become a graphic designer and i'm at college at the minute, but not sure about University, do i have to go to become one?

Nevertheless, a good education in the arts if you plan to work in the field should give you an edge among the competition. Employers/Design Firms nowadays prefer Fine Arts graduates to work. Top firms/studios prefer graduates from a reputable school.

using the graphics software is actually easy,

since it's quite user friendly.

that is, if you love to explore.

BUT THEN,

if you aim to make it your profession,

better get a certified degree from a reputable school.
