No. In New York State, all you have to do is take a 45 hour course, pass the local test after the course, and then pass the state test.  You will have to have a sponsoring broker fill out part of your license application, but other than that, that's all you need to do.

no you  don't, all you have to do is pass the lisence test and your done, but let me tell you , the test is not easy

No---you can take a class locally. And actually you really don't even have to take a class, but it is recomended. It takes a few weeks, and it is offered many times at night at local real estate offices.

no. you can even take online courses and take an online test in order to get your license.

Depends on what state you are in. Most states I would probably say no, you just need like 40 hours of training from an approved school. Most states you do need a degree to be a broker. Check with your local state board of real estate. All of them have websites.

Sure prep courses are offered in Junior College. Not sure what you need to take the test to become registered real estate agent. Do search for requirements for your state and look for something that lists requirements an not thousands of listings trying to sell you course. In fast search done only requirement besides listing of skills and knowledge were continuing ed credits.
