  1. It depends on where you live and what type of gun  (handgun or long gun) you want to carry.


  2. That would depend on where you live. You might do a quick check of state laws on the NRA-ILA website, but that probably won't be definitive.

  3. If you have your shotgun in the back window in a rack, no, as long as you have a current hunting license.  To carry any concealed weapon requires a license whether in a truck, car or on your person.

  4. Don't believe any of these answers that say anything other than, "it depends on what state or area you live in and where you are when you have the gun in your truck and what kind of gun it is and where in your truck your gun is located."

  5. You have a constitutional right to "keep and bare arms". As long as your weapon is in plain view, you do not need a permit.

    If you wish to conceal your weapon (in your glovebox or under your seat), you'll need a "concealed weapons" permit.

  6. I think that would depend on the state in which you live.  I would check with the state, and the local municipality.
