Do i have to let my fiancee spend his xmas with his family who he meet once a year?

we've been dating for almost 7 years,and will get married next year

the prob is we never spend xmas together.he will fly back to his grandparents country with his parents.

  1. You've been together a long time so my suggestion is why don't you go with him?  You don't HAVE to let him spend Xmas with his family. If this is an issue before you're married, it'll just get worse after. We don't always get what we want so we compromise.  How about one year with his family and next year with you or yours.  I would think it'd be fun travelling with him to another country.  And look at it from his point of view, he only sees them once a year. So be generous once a year and you'll have a long and happy relationship.  Good luck.

    Your fiancee can do what ever he wants, hopefully.  Are you really that controlling?

    Sounds to me like it is time you BOTH made this trip.
