Do i have to pay 120$ for exess bagagge to travel from chicago to dallas by UA ?

The additional free excess baggage in USA only up to the first gateway point in USA . Normal baggage allowance shall apply for the intra US sectors.My flight is from india to chicago and then dallas

if you have a ticket issued from India to Usa, say for example DELHI to NEW YOURK, newyork to chicago, chicago to dallas your  baggage allowecne still remains to same, 2 pcs each pc not weighing not more than 23 kilos. but if u are talking about the extra piece allowed ( 3rd piece ) allowed by many airlines for students going to USA, then u are right  the third pc faciility is available only upto first gateway point in usa,.
