Do i have to pay $29.99 extra a month to get a blackberry?

i want the blackberry pearl in pink but the lady at verizon told me that if i wanted to get it that id have to pay $29.99 extra a month bc internet is standard on blackberries. is that true?? and why? thanks for the help!!!!!!!!! xoxo jenn <3

you shouldnt have to pay extra if you wont use the internet. i am pretty sure you can get a phone without having to pay the extra $29.99.

They can&#039;t make you get internet on your phone but if you use the internet without paying for the service it will be very expensive.
