Do i have to pay for sky hd if i buy a sky hd box?

Can I buy the box on its own Or do i have to subscribe to the channels

It's an extra £10/month. You get an extra 4 HD channels and most of the material on them was recorded in standard defintion anyway.

What a rip-off!

The BBC and ITV HD channels are already available on Freesat for free.

Wait until next year and buy an HD Freeview box.
