  1. Just respond. tell them you are not a citizen.

  2. Go and serve on jury duty.

Then tell them afterwards that you are not a citizens.

  3. You should respond but not serve.  Just let them know you are not a US citizen and they will excuse you.

  4. It is not right that you do not respond.  Just indicate on the card that you are ineligible because you are not a citizen.  They should take you off the call list asap.

  5. yes you do....call the number on the back of your notice and tell them your not a us citizen....they can hold you in contempt or  Any person summoned for jury service who fails to respond or appear may be ordered by this court to appear at their own expense to show cause why they failed to comply with the summons. Any person failing to show good cause for non-compliance with the jury summons may be fined not more than $100 or imprisoned not more than three (3) days, or both, pursuant to Title 28, USC Section 1866. that is for New Jersey and this link is for PA http://216.104.174.12/juryduty.htm

  6. If you are not a citizen then...how did they even get your name? You have to be a citizen to be called for jury duty! Only a US citizen can be on a jury.

  7. LOL....you ignored it?  I would call them.  No it is not true you can ignore it.

  8. No you can't ignore it.  Jury duty requests are determined by the registered voters in the area.  If you aren't a citizen, you can't vote.  Contact them and explain, think it must be a mistake you were summoned.

  9. Call the number. tell them you are not a citizen. They may  make you come and show your non-citizen proof (your green card).
