Do i have to retake my permit test?

Question

I have had my permit for almost 8 months and it expires the 25th of next month. When i go get it renewed do i have to take the test again? Cause some people told me i do then others told me that i dont have to.

Is your permit a little pink slip? If so, then that isn't your REAL permit and there is a reason why you have gotten it. You need a true permit which is where you go to the Secretary of State. If you haven't gone to the Secretary of State yet, then I suggest you do. You need your permit for 6 months after Segment 1, and you need it for 6 months again after Segment 2. So, I'd find a way to see what's going on, because something isn't right.

girl i have to figure out the same exact thing when i go back to tulsa in a couple of weeks so i dont know either. i hope i dont.!!!

Well i don't know what state you live in, but in FL you have your permit for a year and then you take the driving test.

no cause that would be like taking your driving test again to get your license renewed.
